**Update, July 15:** Citi has clarified this change only affects the legacy Citi ThankYou Mastercard, which has been closed to new applicants for years. The Double Cash, Custom Cash, Rewards+ and Strata will keep their 1:0.7 JetBlue transfers. Nothing changes for the vast majority of cardholders.

Citi will remove JetBlue as a ThankYou points transfer partner on its no-annual-fee cards, effective September 20, 2026\. Cardholders are seeing an in-account notice confirming the change.

The change affects cards that currently transfer to JetBlue at a reduced 1:0.7 ratio:

- Citi Double Cash
- Citi Custom Cash
- Citi Rewards+
- Citi Strata

Thankfully, Citi's premium ThankYou cards — the Strata Premier and Strata Elite — transfer to JetBlue at 1:1 and aren't mentioned in the announcement.

This one stings less than most partner losses — the 1:0.7 ratio was never a good deal to begin with. And if you pair a no-annual-fee Citi ThankYou point-earning card with a Strata Premier or Elite, nothing changes: pooled points still transfer at 1:1 for the foreseeable future.
