- Description: Delta just opened its second Delta One Lounge at LAX in Terminal 2. It's a small temporary lounge that focuses on dining, and even has an exclusive Delta One burger.

Today, Delta opened its second Delta One Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), making LAX the first airport where any US carrier has two premium business-class lounges.

This lounge is in Terminal 2 and open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. It joins the Terminal 3 lounge that opened in 2024, and arrives as Delta invests heavily in LAX ahead of the 2028 Olympics.

It's small and dining-focused — about 4,000 square feet with 75 seats, built inside the former Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse. The kitchen matches the Terminal 3 Delta One Lounge (sushi flown in from Japan, hamachi crudo, branzino), and [*The Points Guy*](https://thepointsguy.com/airline/new-delta-one-lounge-lax-terminal-2/?ref=pnm.now)notes there's a Delta One burger you can't get at the other lounge. It also has three shower suites.

Access works like every Delta One Lounge: no credit card or day pass gets you in. You need a same-day Delta One flight, Delta 360° status, or a same-day premium ticket on a partner like Air France, KLM, Korean Air, LATAM, or Virgin Atlantic.

The catch is that it's a temporary lounge, closing for renovation when a new T2 Sky Club opens in the second half of 2027\. A permanent Delta One lounge is due in 2028.

Andrew's Take

It's great to see Delta bring another Delta One lounge online, but 4,000 square feet and 75 seats is tiny. Further, it's interesting to see LAX get a second Delta One Lounge before Atlanta (ATL) gets its first. That's not an accident — it's what competition does. In a fortress hub like ATL you're a captive; at LAX, Delta actually has to impress you. I'll take it, and I'll be ordering the burger.
