# Hyatt Offers Double Points at Thompson Hotels Through Nov. 10

Hyatt is celebrating Thompson Hotels' 25th birthday with a new promo: double points at the brand this fall. The [promotion](https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/en/offers/thompson-hotels-mobile-app-offer.html?ref=pnm.now) launched earlier this week and covers stays through Nov. 10, 2026, at every Thompson hotel worldwide. Registration is required, and the most important rules live in the FAQ, not the terms.

With this promotion, you'll earn 10 points per dollar instead of the usual five. Earnings are capped at 30,000 bonus points, which works out to roughly $6,000 in eligible spend.

One thing to note: You have to register and book in the World of Hyatt app. Hyatt's FAQ says stays booked through any other channel won't qualify, including existing reservations made on the website. App bookings made before the promo launched do count, as long as you register before checking out.

If you've already got a Thompson stay on the books this fall that you made outside the app, see if you can cancel and rebook it in the app without a penalty to earn the bonus.

I won't be able to use this promotion, but it's a nice bonus for those who are already planning to stay at a Thompson property this fall. That said, I hope Hyatt doesn't make app-only promos a habit. That's an annoying hoop to jump through if you tend to book travel on your computer like I do.
