• Usage data — pages visited, time spent, links clicked, browser type, device type, and IP address, collected via our publishing platform (Ghost).
• Cookies — see Section 5 below.
• Email engagement — whether you opened an email or clicked a link, collected by our email delivery provider.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect data through credit card affiliate links or referral tracking — because we don't use them. We do not build advertising profiles or sell your data to third parties.

We use your information to:

• Send you our daily newsletter and any other communications you've requested
• Manage your member account and subscription
• Process payments for paid subscriptions
• Respond to your messages and support requests
• Understand how readers use the Site so we can improve it

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics cookies. If we add any in the future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be re-requested.

6. Newsletter and Email Communications

When you subscribe to PNM Now, we collect your email address and send you our daily newsletter. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing us at privacy@pnm.now.

We use a double opt-in process: after submitting your email, you'll receive a confirmation email. Your subscription is not active until you confirm.

We do not share your email address with advertisers. Advertisers are only told aggregate, anonymized information about our audience (e.g., total subscriber count, open rates).

7. Advertising

PNM Now displays clearly labeled sponsored content from advertisers. We work only with brands in travel-adjacent categories. We do not accept advertising from credit card issuers, affiliate networks, or financial product companies whose products we cover editorially.

Our advertisers are not provided with your personal information. Sponsored content is always labeled as such and does not influence our editorial coverage.

8. Third-Party Service Providers

We share your data with the following third-party providers only as necessary to operate the Site and newsletter:

• Ghost Foundation — our publishing platform, which hosts the Site and manages member accounts. Ghost processes your email address, name, and usage data. See Ghost's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions. Stripe handles all payment data. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Google — we load fonts from Google Fonts, which may transmit your IP address to Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as you remain a subscriber or member. If you unsubscribe or delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g., financial records).
