Best Western Rewards is getting a new name. BWH Hotels announced today that it's combining Best Western Rewards and WorldHotels Rewards into one program, called WorldHotels Rewards, on Jan. 5, 2027. It'll cover more than 4,000 hotels across 18 brands, from Best Western and SureStay to Aiden and WorldHotels Collection, and about 70 million members.

The new program will have three membership tiers. Your points will keep their current value and still won't expire, and status matching and member rates aren't going away. Further, you'll have more ways to earn, though BWH hasn't said what those are yet. WorldHotels is becoming the company's master brand, too, with a new website and app, but individual hotel names and signage won't change.

Stay tuned for more information. Full program details come Nov. 16.

Like any half-announcement, the big questions are how today's elite levels will fit into the new three tiers and whether award prices will change. Points that supposedly keep their value don't help much if they suddenly buy fewer nights.
