Good News: A Chase Sapphire Lounge Is Coming to Miami

A Chase Sapphire Lounge is coming to Miami International Airport (MIA), following preliminary approval from Miami-Dade County earlier this month.

When built, the lounge will be located on Concourse E's third floor near gate E7, spanning roughly 14,000 square feet on a 15-year lease worth about $94 million to the airport.

It's worth noting that Concourse E connects airside to Concourse D, which is the heart of American Airlines' operations at MIA. This will make the lounge accessible to passengers connecting between American flights at one of its largest hubs.

As a quick reminder, anyone with a Priority Pass membership can enter Sapphire Lounges once per year. Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders get unlimited visits with their included Priority Pass membership.

Don't route connections through MIA to visit this lounge just yet. Construction hasn't started, and Miami-Dade has only given preliminary approval. Regardless, it's exciting to see a new Sapphire Lounge in the works, as it's by far one of my favorite airport lounge networks.
