ICYMI: Chase Sapphire Reserve's DoorDash Restaurant Credit Is Tripling in October

Chase is about to make one of the Sapphire Reserve's least interesting perks worth paying attention to. Starting October 1, 2026, the card's $5 monthly DoorDash restaurant credit becomes $15 that applies to any DoorDash order, including restaurant, grocery, and convenience store orders.

The change first surfaced on Reddit last week, and a Chase representative has since confirmed it in a statement to MilesTalk.

According to the statement, you still get two $10 monthly promos on non-restaurant orders after this change. This gives you a total of $35 in DoorDash credits per month, provided you actually use them.

Chase's statement also refers specifically to the personal Sapphire Reserve, so business cardholders shouldn't assume their cards are included until Chase says otherwise.

The $5 DoorDash credit was never too exciting when you accounted for the platform's delivery and service fees. But $15 is a different story, since it should negate those fees in most cities. I also like that you can use the credit toward any type of order, which is a lot more flexible than the two $10 non-restaurant monthly credits.
