Hyatt Elites and Cardholders Can Now Book Award Nights 13 Months Out
· 1 min read
World of Hyatt's new advance booking window is live. Explorists, Globalists, Lifetime Globalists, and primary World of Hyatt credit cardholders can now book award nights roughly 13 months in advance — one month before everyone else's 12-month window opens.
Here's how it works:
- No registration required. Log in to an eligible account and search dates beyond 12 months, and you'll see a banner noting your "exclusive access" to those awards. The award calendar will also display availability 13 months out.
- Eligibility is based on your status tier at the time of booking, and booking windows follow the hotel's local time zone.
- Discoverists and general members don't qualify unless they also hold a Hyatt credit card.

Hyatt announced this benefit alongside its May 2026 award chart changes, which raised peak pricing at top properties to as much as 75,000 points per night — up from a previous ceiling of 45,000 points per night.
For most bookings, this changes nothing — award space is rarely gone a year out. However, where it matters is the handful of stays everyone wants: cherry blossom season in Kyoto, New Year's Eve in New York, etc. If you're hoping to book these stays and have a Hyatt card or elite status, this could be the perk that makes it happen.
