Earn Up To 3x Points With This New IHG One Rewards Promotion

IHG One Rewards just opened registration for a new global promotion that covers stays from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026. Registered members can earn 2x points on qualifying stays, starting with their second stay of the promotion. The multiplier increases to 3x if the stay is booked through the IHG app.

Registration is required before your first eligible stay, and there's no booking deadline, so any qualifying nights during the window count as long as you've registered.

All paid stays booked directly with IHG qualify if the nightly rate is at least $30, and award nights don't count. There's no cap on how many bonus points you can earn.

Hotel promotions have been light this year, so a no-cap, no-minimum-stay-length offer like this one stands out to me. The app-booking requirement for the top tier is annoying, but I'd just register now and just make a habit of booking through the IHG app for the rest of the year.
