Norse Atlantic Cuts All But One U.S. Route to Europe

Norse Atlantic's U.S. network is about to shrink to one flight.

Starting Oct. 25, the low-cost Scandinavian carrier is dropping both of its remaining New York-JFK routes — London Gatwick (LGW) and Rome (FCO) — leaving it with a single flight to the U.S.

That lone survivor is Orlando (MCO) to London Gatwick (LGW), which we can assume is sticking around for theme park travelers. This news comes just months after Norse pulled out of Los Angeles (LAX) entirely back in April.

Budget transatlantic flights never really cracked the code of staying cheap once you add bags, seat selection, and other things you need for an international trip, and airline after airline has learned that the hard way. If you've got a Norse booking to New York for after Oct. 25, keep an eye on your inbox for a refund.
