AAdvantage Miles Can Finally Book Oman Air Award Tickets

American turned on Oman Air award redemptions on July 30, and they're bookable directly on American's website. Oman Air joined oneworld back in June 2025, so this one has been a long time coming.

Oman Air doesn't fly to the United States, but it's useful for travel between the Middle East and Europe, Africa and Asia, all routed through Muscat (MCT).

American still publishes a partner award chart, so pricing is predictable. Muscat to Europe costs 42,500 miles in business class, or 62,500 miles for Oman Air's Business Studio, which prices as a first-class award.

It can also be useful for flights between Europe and Asia, where you can book a business class ticket for 75,000 miles.

Oman Air flies Apex Suites in business class on its 787-9s, and the airline has a reputation for releasing a healthy amount of partner award space.

This lands at a good moment. Qatar and Etihad have both been squeezing what they release to partner programs, and Oman Air turning up with real availability helps fill that hole. American lets you combine Oneworld carriers on a single award, so this doesn't have to be a standalone ticket.
