Air France and KLM just rolled out a quick way to boost your Flying Blue balance. Book a paid economy ticket by August 31 from a US gateway with at least one segment to Paris (CDG) or Amsterdam (AMS), and you'll earn 10,000 bonus Flying Blue miles on top of what you'd normally earn for the flight.

Travel needs to be completed by January 31, 2027, and your Flying Blue account must have a US address on file to qualify. Members can get the bonus once, and note that this promotion doesn't apply to reward tickets or tickets booked with a mix of miles and cash.

This is a good deal if you're already planning to book an Air France or KLM flight. But the timing is ironic (and predictable): it lands just a day after Flying Blue announced that will split award tickets into Light, Standard, and Flex tiers, which raises the mileage cost of getting the same bags-and-lounge experience you get today.
