Alaska's August Global Getaways: Award Flights to Europe, Asia, and the Pacific From 20K Points

Atmos Rewards released the August edition of its Global Getaways award sale, offering up to 50% off one-way economy awards to nine destinations.

The booking window is short — awards must be booked between August 4 and August 8, 2026 — and travel windows vary by destination this time around, so check the dates below before you book.

Here's a look at this month's Global Getaways destinations, all one-way in economy:

• Budapest, Hungary: from 25,000 points, travel Jan. 5–Feb. 28, 2027
• Edinburgh, Scotland: from 20,000 points, travel Jan. 5–Feb. 28, 2027
• Hong Kong: from 34,000 points, travel Jan. 5–Feb. 28, 2027
• Madrid, Spain: from 20,000 points, travel Jan. 5–Feb. 28, 2027
• Nadi, Fiji: from 30,000 points, travel Jan. 5–Feb. 28, 2027
• Osaka, Japan: from 27,500 points, travel Aug. 1–Nov. 18, 2026
• Papeete, Tahiti: from 25,000 points, travel Nov. 1, 2026–Feb. 28, 2027
• Rome, Italy: from 25,000 points, travel Aug. 1–Oct. 23, 2026
• Sydney, Australia: from 35,000 points, travel Aug. 1, 2026–Feb. 28, 2027

Discounts apply to select flights originating in the United States on Alaska, Hawaiian, and partner airlines, in economy only, and only where saver-level award space is open.

These awards carry Atmos Rewards' standard change and cancellation policy, so they're refundable at no cost beyond the partner booking fee.

These are solid deals, especially Osaka for 27,500 points and Sydney for 35,000 points. The only major downside is that all discounts only apply to economy tickets, which is unfortunate given these are all long-haul flights.
