Emirates is letting passengers flying to Dubai change their travel dates as many times as they want without paying a change fee, on Economy Saver through Flex fares and Business Special through Flex fares. First Class, Premium Economy, and the top-tier Flex fares were already fully flexible. As expected, you'll still owe the fare difference if your new flight costs more.

The airline also cut refund fees on Dubai-bound tickets to $50 on Saver fares and $25 on Flex fares in both Economy and Business Class. Separately, tickets booked anywhere on the Emirates network from April 2, 2026 onward — including itineraries connecting through Dubai — get one free date change, plus a 24-hour fare hold while you finalize plans.

Emirates is also sweetening its Skywards program through August 31: elite tiers require 20% fewer Tier Miles, Emirates and flydubai flights earn a 20% Tier Miles bonus, and every 2,000 in points redeemed towards Cash+Miles now covers $30 instead of $15 toward flights, bags, lounge access, or seat selection.

Emirates is clearly trying to talk nervous travelers into booking despite the ongoing conflict in the region, and flexible dates plus cheap refunds make that easier to swallow. Just remember these changes only apply to Emirates-ticketed flights: if you're flying Emirates on an Aeroplan or other partner award, you're still bound by that program's change and cancellation rules.
